的 Experimental 神经科学 major prepares students for a hands-on career in science or science education. 的 curriculum focuses on the structure and function of the nervous system with the ultimate goal to experimentally test questions relevant to health and disease. 学生 in this major will gain a comprehensive understanding of genes, molecules and cells that are the building blocks of the brain. 学生 will work with model organisms to learn how the brain develops and functions. 学生 will explore the many disorders and diseases that are linked to the brain and nervous system from a model systems perspective.学生 are highly encouraged to participate in undergraduate re搜索 and are required to take a discussion based senior seminar class.
